| Gillis moved in 1690 to Helmond. On May 2, 1690 the mayor of Helmond signed a contract about the letting of the mills in Helmond for the period of six years (Huisarchief Helmond Inv. 120, page 32). After his death in 1694, his wife paid the rent for the mills for the remaining years.7 |
