Obituary: "ALPHONSE DUBEAU "Born at St. Gabriel de Brandon, Que., in 1895, Alphonse Dubeau, formerly a resident of Lamarche township, Cochrane, Ont., died in St. Luc Hospital, Montreal, on June 3rd, after a lengthy illness from heart ailment. "Funeral service was conducted by Rev. Father Arthur Dubeau, cousin of the deceased, in St. Stanislas de Koska Church, Montreal, and interment was made in La Cote des Neiges cemetery, Montreal. "Attending the funeral service from out-of-town were Mr. and Mrs. Jean Mondor, Cochrane; Mr. and Mrs. Julien Mondor, Kapuskasing; Mr. and Mrs. Max Dubeau, Quebec City; Mrs. Paul Lapointe and Mr. Raymond Dubeau, Drummondville, Que.; and many Montreal relatives and friends."92 Obituary (translated from original French): "DUBEAU - Died at Montréal, June 3, 1956, at the age of 61, Alphonse Dubeau, son of Narcisse Dubeau and Louisa Remington, both deceased, formerly of St-Gabriel de Brandon. The funeral will take place on this coming Wednesday, the 6th. The funeral procession will leave the J.S. Vallée Funeral Homes Ltd., 4838 rue Papineau, at 7:45 and proceed to St-Stanislas de Koska Church, where the service will be celebrated at 8:00, and from there to Côte-des-Neiges Cemetery, where the interment will take place.
