Obituary, Kingston Whig-Standard, Tuesday, Mar 1, 1988: "Helen Irene Wemp "Helen Irene Wemp, 83, of Napanee who died recently at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital, following a prolonged bout with cancer, was buried in St. Paul's Cemetery in Sandhurst. "She was born in Sidney Township, Hastings County, a daughter of the late Daniel Hagerman and his wife Ada, but had been a Bath and Sandhurst resident for many years. "Twice married she was predeceased by both husbands, Clarence McKean and Russell D. Wemp. "Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Russell (Verna) Reid of Roslin and several nieces and nephews. "Two brothers, Clifford and Clarence Hagerman predeceased her. "Rev. Lou Somers officiated at a funeral service and the pallbearers were her nephews, Donald McArthur, Gerald Stratton, Carl Hagerman, Hugh Wemp, Melville Filsin and a dear friend, Ernest Ruttan."189 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
