The couple lived near Stella, Amherst Island ON. In 1968 Marion bought Lot A, Concession 3 from the Maxwell estate and left it to her son Art.41 She was living in Kingston on in Dec 1994.166

"Marion E. McGinn
"Peacefully at Extendicare, Kingston, on Wednesday, March 1, 1995, in her 96th year, beloved wife of the late Charles McGinn, loving mother of Donald and his wife Mary of Coburg [sic]; Arthur and his wife Susan, John and his wife Jane, all of Stella; predeceased by Leona McGinn, Bryce McGinn, Jane Gibson, Annie Ferguson and Mavis McGinness. Fondly remembered by her several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great great grandchildren; predeceased by her two brothers and one sister. The family will receive friends at the Paul G. Payne Funeral Home, Main Street, Odessa on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Liturgy of the Word to be held on Friday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with Father Peterkin officiating. Interment St. Bartholomew's Cemetery, Stella. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family."164 |
