Kathleen was the first person baptized in St. Alban's Anglican Church, Amherst Island (founded in 1890). Two of her great-grandchildren, Laura Wemp and Sherry Ward, were confirmed on the 100th anniversary of the church. Kathleen was still living at the time. See obituary in the Amherst Island Beacon, June 1966 and an article on her life in the May 1966 issue.41
