Obituary:
"McDonald, Elizabeth M.J. of Percy Twp passed away at the Campbellford Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, August 16, 1988 after a lengthy illness.
"The 94 year old Mrs. Macdonald [sic] was born in the Percy Twp area the daughter of John and Alice (nee Wilson) Allen.
"She was predeceased by her husband W. Beecher McDonald, three brothers: William, Herb and Harry Allen and one sister, Mabel Richardson.
"Mrs. McDonald is survived by her son, Elwood McDonald, of Peterborough and her daughter, Mrs. Olga Evans of R.R.4, Warkworth. She is lovingly remembered by four grandchildren, four great, grandchildren and one great, great, great grandchild.
"She was a member of St. Paul's United Church, Warkworth.
"The funeral took place on Friday, August 19, 1988 at the Slater Funeral Home. Interment was at the Warkworth Cemetery with the Rev. Ralph Ingleby officiating.
"The Pall Bearers were Leo Parcels, Ross Macklin, Heber Adams, Raymond Richardson, Elmer Laver, Harold Redden."94
