Obituary:
"George F. Covert
"The death occurred in Toronto on Sunday, May 10th, 1942, of George F. Covert in his eighty first year, after an illness of one week. He was a former well known resident of Castleton but has made his home in Toronto for the past twenty years. Besides his widow he is survived by one daughter, Mrs H. Clarke of Toronto and four sons, Ross and Reginald of Toronto, William of Castleton and Lorne of Hamilton and twelve grandchildren. The funeral service was held in the United Church, Castleton, on Tuesday May 12th, conducted by Rev Alfred Bishop. Interment at Castleton Cemetery."51 |
