NAME: His last name is also given as SCHOLTA.208 MARRIAGE: There is a great deal of confusion in the information for this family. Everyone agrees that Henry SCHOLTE married Elizabeth McKAGUE, but there is a difference of opinion as to which Elizabeth McKAGUE it was. I believe the correct one is as shown--the daughter of John McKAGUE and Nancy McINDOO.196 The alternative is the daughter of G. Wilson McKAGUE and Nancy Ann McINDOO.54 Other sources indicate that the latter Elizabeth was married to Henry's brother Frederick,2 12 50 9 and for the moment I am making that assignment.
