"Delbert's great granddaughter is Barbara Davis. I have not spoke to her yet but she states that she believes her family is related to the McKagues from Missouri."242
"The story is that the father left when he was young, went 'west' and was to send for the family. They heard no more from him so the mother took Delbert (not known if there were other siblings) and went searching for him. She stopped in various places, working until she could afford to go further. Sometime along the way she died and Delbert was taken in by a family by the name of Stone. Delbert eventually ended up in Colorado."775
