"Susie, daughter of Agnotta and Peter Dyck was born June 12, 1916 at Horndean, Manitoba. In September 1955 she married Leslie Clark who was her lifetime companion. She farmed with Leslie in the Bellhampton district northwest of Glenella. She loved the animals and all outdoor activities. She was a wonderful gardener and took pride in having no weeds ever in the garden. She was a great homemaker and loved to have visitors stop by with no-one ever leaving without a cup of tea and a beautiful lunch or meal. "In 1974 Susie and Leslie retired to Kelwood where Susie continued to enjoy her garden and yard. Susie was a woman who had a great faith. "Susie was predeceased by her parents, her brother Jake Dyck, sister Sarah Wessels and her husband Leslie two weeks ago. "She will be sadly missed by her brother Peter, sister Agnes, sister-in-law Ann Dyck, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Bruce and Dorothy Clark plus many nieces, nephews and cousins. "The funeral service was held May 4 at Neepawa United Church with Rev. George Cargo and Rev. Colin Grambo officiating. Interment followed at Riverside Cemetery. "Pallbearers were David Clark, Earl Melcosky, Joe Poncsak, Stuart McKague, Dwayne Crandall and Frank Ginter. Ushers were Bob and Bev Finlayson. "If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to Kelwood United Church or Neepawa District Palliative Care.
