BIRTH: William's parentage is confirmed with no birthdate or place given.1
GENERAL: One source reads: "The eldest son, William ... , married Jane Sharpe, a daughter of Andrew Sharpe, and with the younger members of their family moved to Wilkie, SK about 1914-1915 to join the older sons and daughters who had preceded them."4 This is very confusing. (1) If William was the eldest son (there's little doubt he was older than all his sisters), how could he be joining older sons and daughters? (2) At this point [2003] I have no evidence of most of this family going west--just Joseph, William and Elizabeth. |
